About

Power & Policy explores power systems, markets, and technologies—and the political economy that shapes them. The substack is edited by Tyler H. Norris, who serves as the primary author, with occasional contributions from other experts in the field.

Tyler is a nationally recognized energy expert, currently pursuing a PhD in power systems at Duke University. He previously served as VP of development at one of the country’s largest clean power developers, as a director at S&P Global, where he developed energy market forecasts, and as a special advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, designing tech commercialization programs.
